1. Introduction
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of RedSpace. By creating an account, accessing RedSpace, or using any RedSpace feature, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use RedSpace.
2. Age Requirement
RedSpace is only for users aged 16 and over. You must not create an account or use RedSpace if you are under 16. RedSpace may restrict, suspend, or delete accounts where it believes the user is under 16.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your account secure
- Keeping login details private
- All activity that happens through your account
- Providing accurate account information
- Telling RedSpace if you believe your account has been accessed without permission You must not:
- Share your account with others
- Impersonate another person or organisation
- Create fake or misleading accounts
- Use another person’s account without permission
- Bypass bans, blocks, restrictions, or enforcement actions
4. Using RedSpace
You must use RedSpace lawfully and responsibly. You must not:
- Break any applicable law
- Abuse, harass, bully, threaten, or stalk others
- Post hateful, discriminatory, or dehumanising content
- Upload or share illegal content
- Attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems, data, or networks
- Interfere with normal app operation
- Use bots, scraping, automation, fake engagement, or platform manipulation
- Use RedSpace for spam, scams, fraud, phishing, or deception
- Circumvent safety, moderation, or security systems
5. Your Content
You keep ownership of content you submit to RedSpace. By posting, uploading, sending, or submitting content, you grant RedSpace a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, reproduce, display, distribute within the app, promote within RedSpace, moderate, remove, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate, protect, improve, and provide the service. This licence allows RedSpace to:
- Show your posts and profile to other users
- Display comments and interactions
- Store uploaded media
- Deliver direct messages to recipients
- Rank and recommend public content
- Review reports and moderation issues
- Remove or restrict content where needed
- Keep limited records for legal, safety, or security reasons
6. Content Responsibility
You are responsible for the content you submit. By submitting content, you confirm that:
- You own it or have permission to use it
- It does not break the law
- It does not infringe another person’s rights
- It does not breach these Terms
- It does not breach the Community Guidelines
- It does not contain prohibited material
7. Prohibited Content
You must not post, upload, send, encourage, or promote:
- Harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, or targeted abuse
- Hate speech or discriminatory abuse
- Spam, scams, fraud, phishing, or deceptive behaviour
- Impersonation or misleading identity claims
- Child sexual abuse material
- Sexual exploitation or grooming
- Non-consensual intimate imagery
- Graphic violence or gore
- Encouragement of suicide, self-harm, or eating disorder harm
- Dangerous illegal activity
- Terrorism or violent extremism
- Malware, hacking, or credential theft
- Copyright or trademark infringement
- Private personal information shared without permission
8. Direct Messages
Direct messages must not be used for harassment, threats, scams, sexual exploitation, grooming, illegal activity, or abuse. Messages may be reviewed if reported or required for safety, legal, or moderation purposes.
9. Moderation and Enforcement
RedSpace may take enforcement action where content or behaviour appears to breach these Terms, the Community Guidelines, law, or safety standards. Enforcement action may include:
- Removing content
- Hiding reported material
- Limiting content reach
- Restricting features
- Suspending accounts
- Deleting accounts
- Blocking access
- Preserving information for investigations
- Reporting serious issues to appropriate authorities where required RedSpace may act with or without notice depending on the seriousness of the situation.
10. Reporting, Blocking, and Muting
RedSpace may provide tools to:
- Report posts
- Report comments
- Report messages
- Report accounts
- Block accounts
- Mute accounts
- Mute topics or keywords Reporting does not guarantee removal, but reports may be reviewed and acted upon where appropriate.
11. Intellectual Property
RedSpace, including its name, branding, interface, features, designs, logos, and original materials, belongs to RedSpace or its licensors. You must not copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, misuse, sell, or exploit RedSpace intellectual property without permission.
12. Copyright Complaints
If you believe content on RedSpace infringes your copyright, contact jaydongoulding1@gmail.com with:
- Your name and contact details
- The copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
- The RedSpace content or account involved
- A statement that you believe the use is unauthorised
- A statement that your complaint is accurate RedSpace may remove content or restrict accounts where copyright infringement appears likely.
13. App Availability
RedSpace is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. RedSpace does not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, bug-free, or error-free. Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed at any time.
14. Safety and Emergency Situations
RedSpace is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the UK, call 999.
15. Account Deletion
You may delete your account through Profile Settings where supported. Deletion should remove your profile and associated user-generated content, except where retention is required for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, security, backup, or dispute-handling reasons.
16. Termination
You may stop using RedSpace at any time. RedSpace may suspend or terminate access if:
- You breach these Terms
- You breach the Community Guidelines
- You create safety risks
- Your account is used unlawfully
- RedSpace is required to act by law
- Continued access could harm users, RedSpace, or the public
17. Disclaimers
RedSpace does not promise that:
- User content will always be accurate
- User content will always be appropriate
- The app will meet every expectation
- All harmful content will be removed instantly
- The service will always be uninterrupted
18. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RedSpace will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or consumer rights that cannot be excluded under UK law.
19. Changes to These Terms
RedSpace may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be made available in the RedSpace Legal Centre. Continued use of RedSpace after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless local consumer protection laws require otherwise.
